Her experience and expertise really helped me when I had a hard time making decisions. One thing that was important to me is promptness. Annette always got back to me quickly!! Our wedding day went smoothly and that's because of Annette! There are many details in preparing the actual Wedding day, I couldn't have done it without Annette! It was a Perfect Day!

I absolutely enjoyed working with Kristin and Bryan on their wedding! They are such a great couple! Here is a bit of their love story from our beautiful bride:
Bryan & I met 4yrs ago at a local gym. Bryan returned home from serving 5yrs in the Airforce when I met him. We ended up talking for over an hour at the gym. We both realized we had many similair interests. One week later I asked Bryan to take me target shooting....well after that day we've been together ever since. Bryan proposed to me on Jan.6th 2011 while on a little getaway at Big Bear Mountain. We set our wedding date on Oct.14th 2011 at the Historic Mission Inn Hotel. This hotel is our favorite hotel to be able to get married here was a blessing. A special thank you to the Mission Inn, Cupids Arrow Florist for the flawless decor and the gorgeous photos from the ever talented photographers at Cean One Photography!

My own 10 year vow renewal

Well after 10 blissful years of marriage and 3 beautiful children my husband and I wanted to renew our vows while on vacation this summer. So of course I enlisted the help of my dear friends OJ Philpot (Our Officiant), Cean Orrett of Cean One Photography and Shawn Adams of Ambiance Designs. They all did an amazing job and I thank them for all of their hard work! We did our vow renewal right outside of our beach front room at the Paradise Point Resort and Spa in San Diego. We had a very intimate ceremony with only our immediate family and a couple of close friends. We hope you enjoy a small glimpse into our day!

Michelle and Jerald were married in the St. Francis of Assisi Chapel at the Historic Mission Inn Hotel and Spa. Michelle was such a beautiful bride and had such great style! I loved the flare of her hot pink, chocolate brown with subtle touches of cheetah print that she brought into the wedding. They had an oxygen bar that the guests really enjoyed and their lovely reception was held in the Music Room at the hotel. The stunning floral designs were created by Shawn Adams of Ambiance Designs and the guests got to have delicious Casey's Cupcakes. Our fab photographers were Jeremy and Katie of Cean One Photography. Michelle's father was unable to make it from the Philippines so her sister surprised her by skyping him in for the first dance. It was a wonderful moment! Thank you Michelle and Jerald for allowing us to be a part of your special day.

Parker Palm Springs Wedding

We had the honor of planning the wedding of Kineret and Aaron at The Parker Hotel in Palm Springs. We had originally planned for an out-door ceremony and reception at the Gene Autry House but Mother Nature had other ideas. With 70 mile per hour winds blowing through our gorgeous wedding we were forced to move everything inside. It still turned out just beautifully thanks to our team and to White Lilac our incredibly talented florist team. Our amazing photographer was Kim Fox of Kim Fox Photography. Our bride and groom were a joy to work with, even with the in-climate weather they still kept smiling. :) We hope you enjoy the photos!

The Grand Wedding Planners Tea Party with Eddie Z

I had the honor and privilege of being one of the wedding coordinators invited to the ultra prestigious tea party hosted by Eddie Zaratsian from tic-tock Couture Florals and the Langham Hotel in Pasadena. The experience was lovely from start to finish with the opening cocktail reception decorated impeccably with beautiful music from Spanish guitarist Brandt Jacobus and refreshing tray passed cocktails. All of the attendees were chatting and having a wonderful time. We were then escorted into the main ballroom where we saw the breathtaking display of florals, fantastic furniture, props, stage, floral buffet, and photo-op area. It took a bit to get everyone seated since we were all overwhelmed and could not stop talking about the gorgeousness before us.

Once everyone got settled Eddie spoke a few words and made vendor and sponsor acknowledgements followed by a few words from the ladies of the Langham and the story of the history of afternoon tea. Then we had the pleasure of listening to the vocal stylings of Brenna Whitaker and her band while being served tea, scones and tea cakes and delicious desserts. It was just lovely! We were all invited to get a specially designed floral head piece made from the floral buffet and then have our professional portraits taken by the fabulous team at Cean One Photography.

The last hour consisted of more Spanish guitar music, networking with friends and having more fun photos taken. A wonderful time was had by all and the planners were given gift bags as they left with all types of treats. Thank you Eddie and the Langham for throwing a fabulous party and inviting A Classic Touch Events!

Water for Elephants: Part 1

The Water for Elephants photo shoot was inspired by the novel by Sara Gruen. The story is about circus life during the Great Depression. While the story is romantic; circus life was far from easy. Our protagonist, Jacob Jankowski, (played by Harrison Muncaster) loses his parents in a car accident a week before his veterinary exams at Cornell. Distraught and penniless, he froze up at his exams, walked out and ended up on a circus train.

It was there that he met and fell in love with Marlena (played by Kaylie Renee Wilson). The photo shoot we created represents how we imagined Jacob and Marlena's wedding would be. The Orange Empire Railway Museum was the perfect venue for this collaboration. I love working at The Mission Inn Hotel & Spa in Riverside. For over a century, world leaders and celebrities (like screen legend Bette Davis), have married or honeymooned at this beautiful and historic hotel. Michelle and Jerald's wedding turned out to be such a beautiful event!

Coordinating a wedding with 280 guests can be challenging, but Shawn Adams at Ambiance Designs and Cean One Photography made it fun. Michelle and Jerald are so in love and their daughter was the maid of honor!

LENGTHS

Floor length: Hemline falls 1/2 to 1 1/2 inches off the floor

Ankle length: Somewhat shorter than floor length, falling around the ankles

Tea length: Hemline falls between the knees and the ankles

STYLES

Ball gown: A fitted bodice and denoted waistline with a full skirt – the “traditional” bridal gown

A-line: A versatile, easy-fitting style with two vertical seams that begin at the shoulders and follow the A-shape to a flared skirt

Empire: A somewhat fitted, raised waist that falls just below the bustline, with a slim skirt

Sheath: A modern, form-fitting style, which often ends with a flare at the bottom

Mermaid: A very slim, figure-hugging dress that ends in a little fishtail skirt

TRAINS

Sweep: Extends 8 to 12 inches beyond the bottom of the skirt

Chapel: Extends 31 to 41 inches from the waist
